Amanda is an HR Consultant with over 15 years of Human Resources experience across multiple industries including finance, healthcare, manufacturing, non-profit and higher education. Amanda has a strong business acumen and expertise in talent acquisition, university relations, training & development, performance management and process improvement.
Amanda’s early career was focused on university relations and college recruitment for Bank of America and later managed graduate training and internship programs for KBC Financial Products.
Amanda also worked for Columbia Business School as the Assistant Director of Student Affairs for the Executive MBA Program where she successfully implemented new professional development programs, expanded career services and professional networking opportunities.
Amanda’s expertise in program development and talent acquisition was later utilized in the manufacturing industry at RockTenn now WestRock, a leading paper and packaging manufacturer based in Norcross, GA. Amanda reorganized their university internship programs across multiple lines of business within the southeast. Upon returning to the Capital Region Amanda worked in Talent Acquisition for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City and most recently for Regeneron Pharmaceuticals in Rensselaer.
Amanda earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY and studied Art Education at The School of Visual Arts in New York, NY and Organizational Psychology at Columbia University’s Teachers College. Amanda is a member of the Capital Region Human Resource Association and the Society for Human Resource Management and is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional.
In her spare time, Amanda can be found rowing on the Hudson River with the Albany Rowing Center where she is also the President of the ARC Board of Directors.
