Karen is a consultant with over 17 years’ experience in both large corporate and small business union and non-union environments. She has worked in organizations with responsibilities across the U.S. so she is well versed in different state regulations. Karen’s primary areas of expertise are policy development and implementation, employee relations and benefit administration.
Karen recently researched, restructured and rolled out a new benefits program that saved the organization almost three hundred thousand dollars annually. She is currently working with business owners performing HR audits to identify which implementations should be rolled out first to meet the needs of the business. Karen’s professional experience is in the manufacturing, media and safety industries.
Karen is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and Capital Region Human Resources Association where she is a member of the Workforce Readiness Committee. She holds the Society of Human Resources Management certification SHRM-CP and Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certifications.
